The Bailey Products 3589 Green Drain Tracing Dye is a water-soluble dye specifically designed to help locate and trace the direction of water flow in pipes, drains, and other water systems. Ideal for plumbing professionals and maintenance crews, this dye provides clear visual indication of water movement, making it easier to diagnose and resolve drainage issues.

To use, simply dissolve the required amount of dye in approximately five litres of clean water before adding it to the flow or tank. The recommended dilution rates are based on clean water conditions—one 8oz (200g) jar is sufficient for approximately 15,000 litres (3,300 gallons) of water. Note that murky or dirty water may require a higher concentration of dye for effective tracing.
