The DIODES INC. DC-DC Switching Step-Down Regulator is a synchronous buck converter designed for high-efficiency power conversion in a compact TSOT-26 package. With an input voltage range of 3.8V to 32V and a fixed 5V output, this regulator delivers up to 2A of continuous output current, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Incorporating enhanced EMI reduction features, this converter includes a frequency spread spectrum (FSS) with a typical switching frequency jitter of ±6%. This innovative design minimizes electromagnetic interference by distributing energy across frequencies, ensuring compliance with stringent EMC requirements. The proprietary gate driver design further optimises EMI performance, making this regulator ideal for noise-sensitive electronics.

The device integrates a 125mohm high-side and a 68mohm low-side power MOSFET, providing exceptional efficiency of up to 88%.
