Dormer E500 HSS Coarse Tap 6mm Bottoming, Straight Flute
Durable Dormer HSS tap for precision threading in blind or through holes. 6mm x 1.0 bottoming. Ideal for manual or machine use.
The Dormer E500 HSS Coarse Tap offers precision threading with its straight flute design, suitable for both manual and machine use. This versatile tap can create threads in through or blind holes across various materials, making it a reliable choice for professional and DIY applications.
For blind hole threading, straight flute taps should be used in a set of three: the taper (first tap), intermediate (second tap), and bottoming (third or plug tap). The bottoming tap is specifically designed to complete the thread near the bottom of the hole, ensuring precision and consistency.
