The DURATOOL 63/37 Solder Wire (SPC22132) is a high-quality Sn/Pb alloy solder featuring a rosin-activated (RA) flux core. This flux is designed for excellent instant wetting action, even on challenging surfaces like nickel. While the residue is non-corrosive if left uncleaned, it’s classified as ROM1 flux per J-STD-004 standards.
Key features include a 3.3% flux core and a softening point of 80°C. Note that for water-soluble solder variants, post-soldering cleaning is required, as the flux residue is not self-cleaning. The acid number is tested per IPC-TM-650 methods.
