The Everbuild Firespan Intumescent Single Socket Pad provides essential fire protection for electrical installations, maintaining fire and smoke barriers when service holes are cut into dry lining and fire-rated boarding. These pads are rigorously tested to EN 1366-3, offering up to 2 hours of fire protection while preserving the acoustic integrity of the drylining system.
Designed for high tack adhesion, the pads are pliable and mouldable, ensuring an easy and secure fit around electrical socket boxes. They are self-bonding, eliminating the need for additional adhesives. The pads are also acoustic-rated to BS EN ISO 140/3 and have been tested for air permeability to EN 12141-1, making them ideal for residential ventilation applications.
