ForgeFix Coach Screw, Hex Head, M10 x 130mm, Zinc Plated, Pack of 10
Durable ForgeFix coach screws (M10 x 130mm) with zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Ideal for timber and masonry fixing.
The ForgeFix Coach Screw with Hexagon Head is a high-quality, single-thread fastener designed for heavy-duty timber and masonry applications. Zinc plated for superior corrosion resistance, these screws offer durability in various weather conditions. The hex head design enables higher torque capability during tightening and faster installation with socket drivers.
Conforming to DIN 571 standards, these coach screws are reliable for structural applications. The single-thread design ensures higher pull-out values and quicker insertion compared to standard screws.
Applications
These screws are widely used in:
- Heavy timber installations
- Fixing timber to masonry
- Satellite dish installations (with rimmed or rimless wall plugs)
Corrosion Protection
The zinc plating forms a protective barrier, preventing oxidation and acting as a sacrificial anode if damaged. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide does not compromise the substrate’s surface integrity.
