They incorporate 6 underhead lobes that improve countersinking and reduce surface dust while the reinforced countersunk necks enhance the holding power. The screws have an anti-friction thread that helps minimise timber splitting, reduces 'jacking' and spinning, and improves overall drawing strength. A serrated thread ensures better pull-out resistance and lowers insertion torque.
Additionally, the double cutting point allows for faster drilling time with reduced clogging from wood dust and can even pierce thin steel (0.8mm). The screws come with an Elementech 400 coating, which provides up to 6 times longer corrosion resistance than standard zinc finishes and does not contain hazardous Cr6+. This coating has been salt spray tested for 400 hours, ensuring durability in interior applications.
