The ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws boast a Torx-compatible drive system, offering universal acceptance for ease of use. Featuring recessed ribs, these screws ensure improved countersinking while minimising surface dust during installation. The reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power, providing a more secure and robust fix.
These screws incorporate a patented drill and drive thread, which reduces timber splitting and prevents ‘jacking’ or spinning in joined timber. This design also increases pull-out resistance, ensuring a firmer and longer-lasting fix. The sharp point allows for faster bite and even enables penetration of 0.8mm steel sheets.
With an advanced ‘Elementech 400’ coating, these screws resist corrosion up to 6 times longer than standard zinc-plated alternatives. This environmentally friendly coating is free from Cr6+ (hexavalent chromium) and has been Salt Spray tested to 400 hours for durability. Included with every tub is a Torx-compatible bit for immediate use.
