The ForgeFix ForgeFast Wood Screws feature a universally accepted TORX® compatible drive, providing improved grip and reduced cam-out during installation. Their recessed ribs ensure smoother countersinking while minimising surface dust accumulation. The reinforced countersunk necks enhance holding power for a firmer, more secure fix in timber.
These screws incorporate a patented drill and drive thread that reduces timber splitting, prevents 'jacking' and spinning of joined timber, and increases pull-out resistance. The sharp point delivers faster bite and can even pierce 0.8mm steel when needed.
Protected by Elementech 400 coating, these screws offer superior anti-corrosive performance – lasting 6 times longer than standard zinc coatings. This environmentally friendly coating contains no Cr6+ and has been salt spray tested to 400 hours. Each box includes a free TORX® compatible bit for immediate use.
