ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Screw, Countersunk, Zinc Plated, 1in x 6, 200-Pk
Zinc-plated Pozi screws with countersunk heads for secure, flush fixing in ironmongery, electrical & plumbing work.
The ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws are zinc plated for increased durability, making them a popular choice for a variety of applications. These countersunk head screws are designed to sink flush with substrates, ensuring a smooth surface finish. Twin threads provide an easy start when driving, reducing the risk of stripping and improving efficiency.
Key Features
- Material: Zinc plated for enhanced corrosion resistance.
- Head Type: Countersunk for a flush finish.
- Drive Type: Pozi compatible with twin threads for easy application.
- Durability: Zinc coating acts as a barrier against oxidation and serves as a sacrificial anode if the coating is damaged.
Advantages of Pozi Drive
Pozidriv screws feature additional points of contact compared to traditional Phillips screws, eliminating cam-out and allowing higher torque application. A 45° embossed line on the screw head distinguishes it from other screw types.
Applications
These screws are ideal for:
- Ironmongery – Secure hinges, brackets, and other hardware.
- Electrical installations – Fasten junction boxes, faceplates, and conduits.
- Plumbing fixtures – Install pipe brackets and fittings.
Compatibility Notes
Screws can be used with various screw cover caps for a neater finish. The zinc oxide layer formed by corrosion prevention ensures long-lasting protection.
