ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Screws, Zinc Plated, CSK, 1.1/4in x 7, Pack of 20
Versatile ForgeFix Pozi screws with zinc plating for corrosion resistance. Countersunk, twin thread, 1.1/4in length. Pack of 200.
The ForgeFix General Purpose Pozi Compatible Screws are designed for durability and versatility, featuring a zinc-plated finish that enhances their resistance to oxidation. These screws are incredibly popular for general-purpose applications and can be used with a variety of materials, making them a staple in DIY and professional projects alike.
Key Features
- High Durability: Zinc plating acts as a barrier against rust, ensuring longevity even in harsh conditions. The zinc oxide layer, if undamaged, further prevents oxidation, similar to aluminium or stainless steel.
- Pozidriv Head: Unlike Phillips screws, Pozidriv screws do not cam out under high torque, providing a more secure and efficient drive. The 45° embossed line on the head makes them easily identifiable.
- Countersunk Design: The flat head sinks flush with the material surface, providing a smooth and unobtrusive finish. Twin threads ensure an easy start when driving.
Applications
These screws are highly versatile and ideal for:
- Ironmongery, electrical, and plumbing installations.
- Use with screw cover caps for a neat appearance.
- General-purpose fastening in wood, plastic, and light metal assemblies.
- ForgeFix* delivers reliable fastening solutions with this box of 200 high-quality Pozi screws, ensuring a strong and lasting hold for all your projects.
