ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw ZP M10 x 40mm Bag of 10
Durable ForgeFix set screws (M10 x 40mm, zinc-plated) for heavy-duty fastening in engineering and construction.
The ForgeFix High Tensile Set Screw ZP M10 x 40mm is a premium-quality fastener designed for robust and durable applications. Made from grade 8.8 steel, these screws offer exceptional tensile strength, making them suitable for heavy-duty fastening tasks. The zinc plating enhances resistance to corrosion, ensuring longevity even in harsh environments.
These set screws are fully threaded and conform to DIN 933 standards, guaranteeing compatibility with various nut types and washers. The zinc coating forms a protective barrier against oxidation, acting as a sacrificial anode if damaged. Unlike iron oxide, the resulting zinc oxide does not compromise the substrate's integrity, providing continued protection over time.
