ForgeFix Nyloc Nuts & Washers, A2 Stainless Steel, M6, Pack of 20
ForgeFix Nyloc nuts with nylon insert, A2 stainless steel, M6 size. Resists vibration, corrosion—ideal for HT & carriage bolts.
The ForgeFix Nyloc Hexagonal Nuts are precision-engineered from high-quality A2 stainless steel, incorporating a nylon locking component to ensure a secure and vibration-resistant fastening. The innovative design features a nylon insert with a smaller inside diameter than the nut, which grips the bolt threads tightly when tightened, preventing loosening even under significant vibration—far more effectively than standard locking washers.
The hexagonal shape allows for easy driving with a wrench or spanner, providing excellent torque and a secure fit. These nuts are made from corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel, ensuring durability and longevity even in challenging environments. While stainless steel resists rust and staining, it's important to note that it is not entirely impervious to corrosion in extreme conditions such as low oxygen, high salinity, or poor circulation.
Applications
Ideal for applications requiring a permanent fastening solution that resists loosening due to movement or vibration, these Nyloc nuts are compatible with a wide range of bolt types, including high-tensile (HT) bolts, carriage bolts, and threaded rods.
