The ForgeFix Spectre™ PZ Compatible Wood Screws combine premium features into an advanced multi-purpose wood screw suitable for various applications. These screws boast a countersunk, Pozidrive compatible recessed head for easy installation and a clean finish.
Fully threaded up to 50mm with a sawtooth thread, these screws help prevent wood splitting, while the reamer feature minimises jacking on screws 50mm and above. The surface-hardened, Type 17 slash point ensures quick-start penetration, reducing the need for pre-drilling in many applications.
Finished with a durable zinc yellow passivated coating, these screws offer excellent corrosion resistance. The yellow passivation process enhances both protection and aesthetics, similar to galvanised finishes but with an attractive yellow hue.
