ForgeFix Spring Washers ZP M12, Zinc Plated, Pack of 100
ForgeFix ZP M12 spring washers prevent loosening from vibration. Zinc plated for corrosion resistance. 100 per pack.
The ForgeFix Spring Washers ZP M12 are ring-shaped, split at one point, and bent into a helix design, ensuring a spring force is exerted between the fastener's head and the base item. This construction effectively prevents loosening due to movement or vibration, making them an essential component for secure bolting applications.
Features:
- Corrosion Resistance: Bright zinc plated for enhanced durability and protection against oxidation. Zinc plating acts as a sacrificial anode, prolonging the washer's lifespan by forming a protective barrier.
- Secure Fastening: The helix shape maintains tension, reducing the risk of nuts and bolts coming loose.
Applications:
- Ideal for engineering, machinery, and other bolting applications where vibration or movement could compromise fastener integrity.
- Compatible with all types of bolts and nuts.
Zinc oxide, which forms naturally on the surface, provides additional resistance to corrosion without degrading the metal substrate. This ensures long-term reliability in demanding environments.
