ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws 5.5x60mm, Box of 100
ForgeFix TechFast timber to steel screws with TORX® drive, Fire & corrosion resistant. Box of 100. EU compliant.
The ForgeFix TechFast Timber to Steel CSK/Wing Screws are specially designed for joining timber to steel frame buildings. These screws feature innovative breakaway wings that create a clearance hole to protect the thread from engaging with the timber during drilling. The wings ream the hole and then break off upon contact with the metal surface, allowing the thread to engage securely with the metal.
These screws come with a TORX® compatible insert for enhanced power transmission and improved countersinking from recessed ribs. They are both fire and corrosion resistant, ensuring long-lasting durability in various conditions. Additionally, they comply with EU Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements, making them a reliable choice for professional and DIY applications.
