ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Construction Screws, Tan, 8x260mm (Pack of 25)
High-strength ForgeFix TORX® construction screws with self-drilling thread & corrosion-resistant tan finish. Pack of 25, 8x260mm.
The ForgeFix Wafer Head TORX® Compatible Construction Screws are engineered for superior performance in both softwood and hardwood applications. Featuring a deep TORX® compatible insert, these screws minimise cam-out while allowing for higher torque application and a firmer, more secure drive. The super sharp tip ensures immediate bite from the first turn, while the patented self-drilling thread eliminates the need for pre-drilling, significantly reducing the risk of timber splitting—even when installed close to edges.
Constructed with a hardened case and core, these screws offer exceptional strength and durability. The Elementech 2000 surface treatment provides outstanding corrosion resistance, lasting up to 30 times longer than standard zinc-coated screws. Additionally, their unique flex resistance of up to 35° enhances their performance in flexible materials, preventing shearing under stress.
