The tip is four-facetted ground, reducing drilling pressure and ensuring perfect centring for clean, accurate holes.
The Chrome Vanadium Steel body is hardened to 56 Rockwell C, enhancing durability and resistance to wear. For optimal performance and longevity, Irwin recommends using a 3-6% coolant emulsion during drilling, which helps extend the drill bit’s lifespan.
