Featuring a C2 Carbide Tip, these bits are designed to drill materials with a hardness of up to 50 Rockwell C. The four-faceted ground tip ensures low drilling pressure and perfect centring for accurate results.
The drill bit body is crafted from Chrome Vanadium Steel, hardened to 56 Rockwell C, providing durability and resistance to wear. To maximise the lifespan of the TCT twist drill bits, Irwin recommends using a coolant—specifically a 3-6% emulsion—during drilling operations.
