The Kitronik Motor Driver Board for Raspberry Pi Pico is a feature-packed board designed to sit at the heart of your robot buggy projects. Connecting directly via pin header, this board allows you to drive two motors simultaneously with full forward, reverse, and stop control. Alternatively, it can be used to power a single stepper motor, offering excellent versatility for your builds.
At the core of the board is the reliable DRV8833 motor driver IC, which includes built-in short circuit, over-current, and thermal protection, ensuring your components remain safe during operation. For ease of use, the board features an on/off switch and a power status LED, whilst power is supplied conveniently via a terminal block style connector.
Furthermore, the 3V and GND pins are broken out, allowing you to power external devices directly from the board. It is simple to programme using MicroPython via an editor such as Thonny.
Please note: The Raspberry Pi Pico is shown for illustration purposes only and is not included. For direct connection, the Pico requires male headers soldered to it with the pins pointing downwards.
