The Knipex 95 12 200 Cable Shears are precision cutting tools designed for slicing through copper and aluminium cables with ease. Made from high-grade special tool steel, these shears are forged and oil-hardened for exceptional durability and longevity. The precision-ground, hardened blades ensure clean and smooth cuts without crushing or deforming the cable.
Featuring twin cutting edges, these shears divide the cutting action into an initial cut for the insulating sheath and a final cut for the conductor, allowing cables up to Ø 20mm to be cut in one effortless motion. The favourable lever ratio and special blade geometry significantly reduce the hand force required, making them comfortable to use even over extended periods. An integrated pinch guard prevents fingers from being accidentally pinched during operation, while the adjustable bolted joint with a self-retaining screw ensures a secure grip.
These cable shears are fitted with ergonomic multi-component grips for enhanced comfort and control, reducing fatigue during prolonged use. Note: They are not suitable for steel wire or hard-drawn copper conductors.
