The MULTICORE LOCTITE No-Clean Lead-Free Solder Wire SAC305 is a high-quality rosin-based cored solder wire designed for efficient and reliable soldering. Made from a lead-free alloy (96.5% Sn, 3% Ag, 0.5% Cu), it meets industry standards such as J-STD-006 and EN 29453.
This solder wire features a rosin-based flux with a 3% nominal flux content, ensuring fast soldering with pale, non-corrosive residues. It performs exceptionally well on difficult surfaces, including nickel, stainless steel, Chromel, Monel, and Constantin, providing excellent wetting and spread. Additionally, it is heat-stable and produces low fumes, making it suitable for precision soldering applications.
The solder wire has a mild characteristic odour and leaves a clear pale residue, which does not require cleaning in most applications. Its 1.6mm diameter and 500g spool weight make it ideal for both professional and hobbyist use.
