The Official Raspberry Pi 5 Case is a purpose-built enclosure designed to keep your Raspberry Pi 5 operating at a comfortable temperature, even during demanding tasks. Its clip-together, four-part construction makes assembly straightforward and secure, protecting your board while providing easy access when needed.

At the heart of this case is an integrated, temperature-controlled cooling fan that connects directly to the fan connector on the Raspberry Pi 5. The fan, combined with a 12mm × 17mm × 4mm heatsink featuring a self-adhesive pad, optimises heat transfer from the processor, ensuring stable performance under heavy loads. Fan speed is managed via pulse width modulation (PWM) control with tachometer feedback, delivering up to 2.79CFM of airflow and a maximum speed of 8000RPM ±15%.

The design prioritises convenience and expandability. The easily removable lid exposes the fan and a breakout slot for cables and GPIO access, while integrated mounting features allow for case stacking. For advanced projects, HATs can be mounted to the enclosure using stand-offs and GPIO header extenders (not included). Four silicone feet are supplied to keep the case stable on any surface. The case is crafted from durable ABS for the base, frame and lid, with a polycarbonate fan assembly, offering a robust yet lightweight protection (78g) for your Raspberry Pi 5 Model B.
