The PIMORONI Pico Plus 2 is an enhanced microcontroller board built around the advanced RP2350B chip, offering a significant upgrade whilst retaining the original Raspberry Pi Pico footprint. This ensures seamless compatibility with your existing Pico add-ons, making it a versatile choice for your electronics projects.
Powered by the RP2350B (Dual Arm Cortex M33 running at up to 150MHz with 520KB of SRAM), this board delivers robust processing performance. It features 16MB of QSPI flash supporting Execute in Place (XiP) and 8MB of PSRAM, providing ample memory for complex applications and data logging.
Designed for ease of use, the Pico Plus 2 is powered and programmable via a USB-C connector. It includes a variety of solder-free connection options: a Qwiic/STEMMA QT connector for I2C sensors and breakouts, an SP/CE connector for SPI and serial devices, and a 3-pin debug connector (JST-SH) for SWD debugging.
Additional features include an on-board 3V3 regulator with a maximum output of 600mA, an input voltage range of 3V to 5.5V, a user LED indicator, and dedicated Reset and BOOT buttons. The BOOT button can also be configured as a user button, adding further flexibility to your builds.
