PRO ELEC - 2:1 Normal Wall Heat Shrink Tubing, 1.2m - Blue 6.4mm

PRO ELEC 2:1 Normal Wall Heat Shrink Tubing provides reliable, professional-grade insulation and protection for a wide range of electrical and mechanical applications. Manufactured from a specially designed, halogen-free modified polyolefin (PO), this tubing offers excellent flexibility and shrinks at a lower temperature, making it ideal for protecting temperature-sensitive components.

The tubing features a 2:1 shrink ratio, meaning it shrinks to approximately half of its supplied diameter when heat is applied. This ensures a tight, secure, and permanent fit around wires, joints, terminals, and splices, creating a protective barrier against moisture, abrasion, and environmental contaminants. Its formulation delivers strong mechanical strength and superior electrical insulation properties, ensuring long-term reliability.

With an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, this heat shrink is suitable for demanding environments, from automotive and marine applications to industrial electronics and DIY projects. It begins to shrink at a minimum temperature of 70°C, with full recovery achieved at 125°C. The material is cross-linked via radiation for enhanced durability and performance.

This product is supplied in a convenient 1.2-metre length, offering ample material for multiple jobs. Its clear colour allows for visual inspection of the underlying connection after installation, which is crucial for quality control and troubleshooting. Whether you're bundling cables, insulating soldered joints, providing strain relief, or creating a professional finish, this versatile heat shrink tubing is an essential component for any toolbox.
