The PRO-ELEC Single Pole RCBO (Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection) is a high-performance electrical safety device that combines the functions of an RCCB (Residual Current Device) and an MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) in a single, compact design. It provides comprehensive protection for personnel, property, and equipment by guarding against several key electrical hazards. Its primary function is personnel protection, offering life-saving defence against electric shock from earth fault currents. It also provides fire protection by detecting potentially dangerous leakage currents that can cause overheating, and line protection against damage to connected equipment. The RCBO actively monitors for and protects against earth fault/leakage current, residual current, short circuits, and overloads, while also performing the vital function of isolation.

Key features include a clear contact position indicator for immediate visual confirmation of the device's status (ON/OFF/TRIPPED). The handle is designed with a padlock facility, allowing it to be locked in the 'OFF' position to prevent accidental or unwanted re-energisation during maintenance, enhancing worksite safety.
