PRO SIGNAL - LC-LC Duplex OM3 50/125µm Multimode Fibre Optic Patch Lead - 2m

The PRO SIGNAL LC-LC Duplex OM3 Fibre Optic Patch Lead is engineered for high-performance data centre and enterprise network applications. Utilising advanced glass fibre technology, this patch lead transmits data via modulated light waves, delivering exceptional speed and reliability for demanding digital infrastructures. It is constructed to the OM3 multimode standard, which offers significantly higher bandwidth and supports greater transmission distances compared to earlier OM2 cables, making it an ideal choice for modern high-speed networks.

Featuring a robust aqua-coloured Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) cable jacket, this patch lead prioritises safety in the event of a fire by minimising toxic smoke and halogen emissions. Its duplex LC connectors on both ends provide a compact, secure, and efficient connection for SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceivers, commonly used in switches, routers, and servers. The connectors ensure precise alignment for optimal light transmission and low insertion loss.

This patch lead is designed for core network applications requiring robust and future-proofed cabling. It supports high-bandwidth protocols over multimode fibre, facilitating fast and stable data transfer for server connections, storage area networks (SANs), and backbone links. The durable construction and reliable performance make it a trusted component for IT professionals and network engineers.

Key specifications include an operating wavelength of 850nm and 1300nm, with a bandwidth of 1500/2000MHz, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of today's data-intensive environments. Its compact form factor and flexible cable design allow for neat and efficient cable management in crowded racks and enclosures.
