Q-CRIMP Nylon Cable Gland - Grey 12mm

The Q-CRIMP Nylon Cable Gland is engineered to provide a robust and dependable sealing solution for electrical and instrumentation cables. This essential component creates a secure, watertight, and dust-proof barrier at the point where a cable enters an enclosure, ensuring the integrity of sensitive equipment. Featuring an IP68 rating, it offers the highest level of ingress protection against the permanent effects of immersion in water and persistent dust ingress, making it perfectly suited for demanding industrial and outdoor environments.

Crafted from high-grade nylon (polyamide), the gland is exceptionally durable, offering excellent resistance to impact, corrosion, and a wide range of chemicals. Its construction includes an integrated washer that compresses to form a powerful seal around the cable, preventing the passage of liquids and particulates. This reliable sealing performance is crucial for maintaining the safety and longevity of electrical systems in applications ranging from control panels to outdoor lighting.

Supplied in convenient packs, these glands are ideal for bulk installations or keeping as essential spares in any electrician's or engineer's toolkit. The compact and streamlined design allows for easy installation in confined spaces, while the standard metric thread ensures compatibility with a vast array of enclosures and junction boxes. Its primary function is to mechanically secure the cable while providing critical environmental protection, a fundamental requirement for compliance and safety in modern electrical installations.
