The Whadda UK SMD RGB LED Module for Arduino is a compact and versatile lighting solution for your electronics projects. Supplied as a pack of two, each module contains a high-brightness 5050 RGB LED. When connected to Arduino PWM outputs, these modules can generate a full spectrum of colours, making them ideal for creating dynamic lighting effects, indicators, and visual feedback in your builds.
Each module is designed for straightforward integration with Arduino development boards. The compact dimensions (5x15x28mm) allow for easy placement in tight spaces, perfect for wearable tech, models, and custom PCBs. The modules are capable of producing a wide range of colours, controlled by varying the PWM signals to each colour channel.
With a power dissipation of 60mW (Red), 95mW (Green), and 95mW (Blue), and a peak forward current of 100mA per colour, these LEDs are bright and efficient. The continuous forward current is rated at 25mA for each LED, ensuring reliable performance. The maximum reverse voltage is 5V.
Important Note: These modules do not include current limiting resistors. Connecting them directly to a 5V supply will damage the LEDs. Proper current limiting resistors must be used in your circuit.
