The TENMA Chisel Soldering Iron Tip (1.2mm) is crafted from high-quality copper and alloy iron, ensuring optimal heat transfer and durability. The iron tips are designed to perform excellently within a temperature range of 360-380°C, making them suitable for precise soldering tasks. However, continuous heating beyond 450°C may reduce the tip's lifespan to just 4-5 hours, and exceeding 500°C will compromise the chrome layer, affecting performance.
The tip features a 0.3µm alloy iron coating and a 0.2µm chrome and nickel coating, enhancing its longevity and resistance to oxidation. Its chisel-style design (1.2mm width) provides excellent control for detailed soldering work.
