Timco Broaching Cutter - Short, 13x30mm, M2 HSS, TiAlN Coated
High-grade M2 HSS broaching cutter with TiAlN coating for durable, precise cutting in industrial applications.
The Timco Broaching Cutter - Short is engineered for precision and durability in heavy-duty drilling applications. Manufactured from high-grade M2 tool steel, this cutter is specifically designed for non-alloy materials when used with magnetic drills. The inclusion of a pilot rod is essential to prevent drifting during operation, ensuring accurate and stable performance.
Key features include the Titanium-Aluminium-Nitride (TiAlN) coating, which significantly enhances the tool life by reducing friction by 20% and increasing hardness by 20% compared to traditional Titanium Nitride (TiN) coatings. This makes it an excellent choice for demanding industrial environments where longevity and efficiency are critical.
The cutter body is made from high-grade M2 High Speed Steel (HSS), offering superior strength and wear resistance. The supplied pilot pin ensures easy and precise alignment, facilitating smooth and accurate cuts. Available in both short (30mm cutting depth) and long (50mm cutting depth) lengths, this cutter provides flexibility for a variety of applications.
