Timco Hex Head Self-Drilling Screws, 5.5x50mm with EPDM Washer, 100-Pack
Timco hex head self-drilling screws (5.5x50mm) with EPDM washer - corrosion resistant for roofing & steel construction.
The Timco Metal Construction Light Section Screws are premium-quality fasteners designed for securely joining roofing sheets to light section steel without the need for pre-drilling. These screws feature a hex head design with an integrated EPDM washer, making them ideal for exterior applications where weather resistance is crucial.
Constructed from case and core hardened carbon steel, these self-drilling screws offer exceptional durability and strength. The silver organic exterior plating provides reliable corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding 500 hours of salt-spray testing, making them suitable for coastal or harsh environmental conditions.
Each screw has a No.3 self-drilling point that eliminates the need for pilot holes, significantly reducing installation time. The fixed EPDM washer creates a watertight seal, preventing leaks and protecting against water ingress. With a 12mm diameter washer and a 35mm effective thread length, these screws ensure a secure and stable connection.
