Timco Intumescent Pipe Collar, 82mm, Stainless Steel
Timco intumescent fire collar (82mm) seals pipes in walls/floors. 4-hour fire rating, stainless steel. 10-year guarantee.
The Timco Intumescent Pipe Collar is designed for retro-fit applications where plastic piping or trunking passes through fire-resistant structures such as walls or floors. In the event of a fire, the collar's graphite-based intumescent core rapidly expands, crushing the pipe or trunking to seal the opening, maintaining the structural fire integrity.
Constructed with a stainless steel outer casing, this collar ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Its tab closing device and welded lugs allow for quick and easy installation, whether face-fixed in walls or ceilings.
