Timco Self-Tapping Screws, PZ Countersunk, Zinc - 8 x 38mm (14-Pack)
Timco self-tapping screws, zinc-plated, 8 x 38mm. Ideal for metalwork. Countersunk head, PZ2 drive. BS 4174 compliant.
The Timco Self-Tapping Screws are expertly designed for stitching metal or attaching items to metal surfaces. These screws require a pre-drilled hole for installation, ensuring secure and accurate fitting every time. Featuring a countersunk head, they provide a flush finish when installed, making them ideal for applications where a neat appearance is desired.
Plated with Trivalent Chromium (Cr3) Zinc, these screws offer excellent corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance even in challenging environments. The 60° self-tapping thread allows for ease of insertion, reducing the effort required during installation while maintaining a strong hold.
Manufactured to the BS 4174:1972 standard, these screws promise reliable quality and performance. The AB Point design enhances penetration into materials, while the Pozi recess (PZ2 driver bit size) ensures compatibility with standard screwdriver bits, preventing cam-out and ensuring smooth driving.
