The Timco Straight Band & Hook On Plates are robust hinges designed for hanging doors or gates in front of the frame or post. Constructed from hot-dipped galvanised carbon steel, they are both durable and resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for heavy-weight, high-use applications in domestic and agricultural settings—including doors, gates, garages, and stables.
For enhanced security, the hinges can be installed with the top or bottom pin mounted upside down to prevent unwanted removal of the gate. Additionally, doors or gates exceeding 2130mm (7ft) in height should be fitted with a third hinge to prevent warping. The package includes necessary fixings for immediate installation.
