The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews are designed for a fast and secure installation in both soft timber and masonry (with plastic plugs). These screws feature a 60° twin-thread design with a parallel shank, ensuring quicker insertion and greater pull-out resistance compared to standard woodscrews. The 25° sharp point and single lead thread facilitate an effortless start and improved thread acceptance, making them ideal for DIY and professional applications alike.
Constructed from C10-18 carbon steel, these screws offer consistent quality and durability. They are surface-hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load, while the core hardness of 450 HV enhances ductility. The double countersunk head minimises the risk of head shear and aids in achieving a flush finish.
These screws are partially threaded from 1 1/4-inch and above, providing a stronger grip in materials. With a PZ (Pozidriv) recess and compatible with a PZ2 driver bit, they ensure a secure drive with reduced cam-out risk. The zinc finish adds corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
