The Timco Twin-Thread Woodscrews are designed for fast and secure installation, making them ideal for soft timber applications or masonry when used with plastic plugs. These screws feature a double countersunk head, which helps reduce the likelihood of head shear and ensures a flush finish.
Crafted from C10-18 carbon steel, these woodscrews offer consistent quality and durability. The 60° twin-threads combined with a parallel shank enable faster insertion and provide greater pull-out resistance. Additionally, each screw is surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under load, while the core hardness of up to 450 HV improves ductility.
For quick starts and improved thread acceptance, these screws come with a 25° sharp point and a single lead. They also feature a Pozi (PZ) recess for compatibility with standard screwdriver bits (PZ2).
