Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews, PZ, Double Countersunk, Zinc, 10 x 1½ inches, 2
Timco twin-thread woodscrews (10 x 1½ inches) for fast, strong fixes in wood & masonry. Zinc-plated, PZ2 drive, 200pc pack.
The Timco Twin-Threaded Woodscrews are crafted for efficiency and durability, featuring a traditional twin-thread design with a single lead start for fast, effortless installation. These screws are ideal for soft timber applications or masonry (when used with a plastic plug).
Engineered from C10-18 carbon steel, these screws ensure consistent quality and reliable performance. The double countersunk head minimises the risk of head shear and aids in completing countersinking smoothly. Partially threaded variants (1¼ inches and above) offer enhanced grip and pull-out resistance, making them versatile for various projects.
Key Features:
- 60° twin-threads with a parallel shank for faster insertion and superior pull-out resistance.
- Surface hardened up to 750 HV to prevent torque shearing under heavy loads.
- Core hardness up to 450 HV for improved ductility and strength.
- 25° sharp point ensures a fast start and optimised thread acceptance.
