The Timco Zip-Fix Cavity Wall Fixing is a heavy-duty, all-metal anchor designed for plasterboards, hollow concrete blocks, cavity walls, and ceilings. Offering rapid installation with its innovative 'Zip & Fix' mechanism, this fixing transitions from a nylon-armed installer aid to a fully steel, fire-resistant anchor once installed.
Each pack includes two zinc pan head machine screw sizes (M6 x 40 and M6 x 60), accommodating varying fixture thicknesses. The nylon installation arms are removed post-installation, leaving a non-flammable, all-steel fixing that complies with BS 7671's 18th edition for fire safety in wiring systems.
