The WINSTAR 16x2 LCD Display Module offers a clear and efficient visual interface for your electronic projects. Featuring a blue and white transmissive STN display with negative contrast, this character LCD ensures excellent readability in various lighting conditions. It is designed to display two lines of 16 characters, utilising a 5x8 dot format that includes a cursor for precise text management.
Powered by the built-in ST7066U controller IC, the module supports a 6800 4/8-bit parallel interface as its default communication method. It operates on a logic voltage ranging from 3V to 5V, with an optional negative voltage available when using a +3V power supply. The display features a 1/16 duty cycle and a 6 o'clock viewing direction, optimised for standard viewing angles.
