The XP Power Open Frame Medical Power Supply (ECS Series) is engineered to meet the stringent demands of modern medical and industrial equipment, combining high efficiency with a compact, convection-cooled design. This power supply has been developed to minimise no-load power consumption (less than 0.3 W) and maximise overall efficiency (up to 89%), facilitating compliance with the latest environmental and safety legislation.

Featuring a remarkably small footprint of just 3" x 2" x 0.95" (approximately 76.2mm x 51mm x 24.1mm), this ultra-low-profile unit is compatible with 1U chassis installations. It delivers a high power density, capable of providing up to 60W of power at 50°C with appropriate derating up to 70°C. The series is approved for both Class I and Class II applications, offering versatile installation options.

Safety and reliability are paramount. The supply complies with rigorous medical safety standards, including IEC60601-1 3rd Edition for medical equipment, featuring 2 x Means of Patient Protection (MOPP) and an associated Risk Management File. It also meets EN55011/22 Class B conducted emissions standards and maintains very low earth leakage currents (80µA at 115VAC or 160µA at 230VAC), making it exceptionally safe for sensitive environments.

With a wide input voltage range of 80V AC to 264V AC, it ensures stable operation across varying global mains supplies. The single output is adjustable by ±10%, providing flexibility for precise voltage requirements.
