The Yale P85 Deadlocking Nightlatch is a widely-used front door security lock, known for its reliability and high-security features. Key-operated from the outside and lever-handle operated from the inside, this latch automatically deadlocks when the door closes. It also includes a snib function (bolt hold-back button) to keep the latch retracted when needed.
For added security, the inside handle can be deadlocked by reverse-turning the key in the cylinder. When deadlocked this way, the latch can only be opened from the outside using the key.
Supplied with a 1109 Cylinder, this lock is available in Brasslux, Chrome, or Dark Metal Grey (DMG) finishes. The P85DMGPB model features a hardened case in Dark Metallic Grey with a Polished Brass cylinder, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
