The 3M 4255 Series Half Mask Respirator is an integral construction respirator designed for effective and comfortable protection against many organic vapours and combination particulate hazards found throughout industry. This ready-to-use, maintenance-free half mask offers reliable defence without the need for ongoing upkeep or filter replacements.

Key Features

Featuring one-piece carbon filter elements with built-in P1 or P2 filters, this respirator ensures low breathing resistance for comfortable extended wear. The soft, low profile face piece is constructed from non-allergenic material with a textured face seal, providing added comfort and better peripheral vision. An efficient parabolic exhalation valve is centrally positioned to reduce heat and moisture build-up, making breathing easier during prolonged use.

Design & Fit

The mask includes an adjustable head cradle assembly and an easy-to-fasten neck strap, ensuring a secure and personalised fit for the wearer. The FFA2P3R D classification protects against organic vapours up to 10 x Workplace Exposure Limit (WEL) or 5000 ppm (whichever is lower), and up to 20 x WEL for particulates. It is designed to be used until damaged, particulate filters clog, or gas filters become saturated, and is often disposed of after one month of use.
