Utilising the new PCI-Ex interface on the Raspberry Pi 5, this board enables high-speed data transfers and expandable storage. It provides TOSLink optical output and RCA phono outputs for versatile connectivity, while the direct I2S sound port connection ensures optimal signal quality. An M.2 PCI-Ex slot supports M-key 2230/2242 SSD drives, offering a convenient storage expansion solution.
The board also features a built-in IR receiver on GPIO 25, and its compact design allows for seamless integration with most projects. Installation is simple and intuitive, using the existing HiFiBerry dtoverlay in Raspberry Pi OS. The package includes the NVDigi board, header, FFC cable, screws, standoffs, and a screwdriver.
