This TEXAS INSTRUMENTS Adjustable Negative Voltage Regulator is a 3-terminal device capable of supplying in excess of 1.5A over an output voltage range of -1.25V to -37V. Designed for ease of application, it requires only two external resistors to set the output voltage and a single output capacitor for frequency compensation, simplifying circuit design and implementation.
The internal circuit design has been optimised for excellent regulation and low thermal transients. It features built-in current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe-area compensation, providing robust protection against overloads and ensuring the output is short-circuit protected.
