The Airpax 67F090 is a positive snap-action, subminiature bimetallic disc thermostat providing precise and reliable thermal sensing and switching in one compact device. Housed in a 2-pin TO-220 package, it is engineered for accuracy and longevity, making it a critical component for temperature control circuits.
This thermostat offers excellent repeatability and a fast, positive response. It is designed for high-speed automated placement and soldering onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), eliminating the need for costly manual assembly. Its construction allows for efficient thermal conductivity primarily through its terminals and mounting bracket, making it perfectly suited for both surface mount applications and ambient air sensing.
The switch operates on a rising temperature, closing (making contact) between 85°C and 95°C, with a typical set point of 90°C. It resets to open on a falling temperature within a window no greater than 6°C below the closing temperature and no lower than 60°C ambient. It features gold-plated contacts for reliable low-level switching and a standard nickel-plated copper bracket.
