ALPHA WIRE 4-Core Shielded Cable 30.5m (100ft) - 20

The ALPHA WIRE 4-Core Shielded Cable is a robust and versatile communication cable engineered for dependable signal transmission within commercial and industrial buildings. Designed for general-purpose communication applications, it ensures reliable performance in compliance with relevant building regulations for internal installations.

Constructed with a high-quality stranded tinned copper conductor, this cable offers excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. Each of the four cores is individually insulated with colour-coded polyethylene (PE) for easy identification during installation and termination, all contained within a durable grey PVC outer jacket. The cable features an overall screen (braided or foil) that provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring signal integrity in electrically noisy environments.

With a broad operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C, this cable is suitable for use in a variety of climates and settings, from cool basements to warm plant rooms. Its 300V voltage rating makes it appropriate for a wide array of low-voltage communication and control circuits. The 20 AWG wire gauge (0.56mm² conductor area) provides a good balance of current-carrying capacity and flexibility, making it ideal for wiring security systems, access controls, intercoms, data networks, and building automation systems.

Supplied in a convenient 30.5 metre (100 foot) reel, this shielded cable is a practical and essential component for electricians, installers, and system integrators who require a reliable, interference-free connection for critical communication infrastructure.
