ARDUINO Micro dev board based on ATmega32U4. 20 I/O pins, 32KB flash, micro USB, 16MHz. Ideal for embedded projects.
The ARDUINO A000053 Micro is a compact development board based on the ATmega32u4 microcontroller, offering a powerful yet easy-to-use platform for embedded projects. With its built-in USB communication, this board can appear to a connected computer as a mouse, keyboard, and a virtual (CDC) serial/COM port, eliminating the need for a secondary processor.
The board features a 16MHz crystal oscillator, an ICSP header, a reset button, and a micro USB connection for programming and power. It provides 20 digital input/output pins, of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs. The ATmega32u4 includes 32KB flash memory, 2.5KB SRAM, and 1KB EEPROM, with 4KB of flash reserved for the bootloader.
Power can be supplied via the micro USB connection or an external power source, with automatic selection. The recommended input voltage is 7V to 12V, and the limit is 6V to 20V. The board's small form factor allows it to be easily placed on a breadboard, making it ideal for rapid prototyping and development.
