The Arduino MKR NB 1500 adds narrow band communication to your projects. Designed for global use, it provides Cat M1 and NB1 deployed bands including 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 12, 13, 20, and 28, supporting networks such as Vodafone, AT&T, T-Mobile USA, Telstra, and Verizon. This makes it a suitable choice for devices situated in remote locations without an internet connection or in situations where power is unavailable, such as field monitoring systems.
Powered by the Microchip SAMD21 ARM Cortex-M0+ 32-bit processor, the board operates at a 48MHz clock speed. It features 256KB of flash memory and 32KB of SRAM, alongside a 32.768KHz real-time clock (RTC). The board requires a 5V input voltage and has a typical power consumption of 93mA.
The MKR NB 1500 offers extensive connectivity options, including 22 digital I/O pins and multiple communication interfaces such as I2C, I2S, SPI, and UART. It also supports 12 PWM outputs and features 7 analogue input pins alongside 1 analogue output pin.
With compact dimensions of 43 mm in height, 33 mm in width, and 15 mm in depth, and a lightweight design of just 22 grams, this development board is highly practical for space-constrained installations.
