Arduino Nicla Vision Development Board

The Arduino Nicla Vision is a compact, standalone intelligent camera platform, engineered to bring advanced machine vision and IoT capabilities to your projects. It combines a powerful STM32H747AII6 dual-core microcontroller, a 2-megapixel CMOS camera, wireless connectivity, and a suite of sophisticated sensors into a minuscule footprint, enabling easy deployment for tasks like data recording, analysis, and cloud uploads.

This development board is a powerhouse of integrated technology. It features a GC2145 2-megapixel CMOS camera for capturing images and video, a VL53L1CBV0FY/1 time-of-flight (ToF) sensor for precise distance measurement, and an LSM6DSOX 6-axis IMU for tracking motion and orientation. For audio applications, it includes an MP34DT06JTR omnidirectional microphone. Wireless communication is handled by a Murata 1DX module providing both Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth (v4.2 BR/EDR/BLE), facilitating the creation of wireless sensor networks.

Designed for maximum flexibility, the Nicla Vision boasts full compatibility with the Arduino Portenta and MKR product ecosystems. It integrates seamlessly with the OpenMV IDE for machine vision and supports MicroPython for rapid prototyping. The available I/O pins allow for expansion with external peripherals. Furthermore, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) enables convenient over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates and remote monitoring capabilities, making it ideal for field-deployed applications.

Additional key components include an NXP SE050C2 secure element for cryptographic operations, a MAX17262 fuel gauge for integrated battery management, a USB3320C transceiver with ESD protection, 16MB of flash memory, and a dedicated power management IC.
